Blue Lock Rivals — Styles, Flows, and Why Spins Expire

3 min read

How Blue Lock: Rivals styles and flows work, which spins to spend, and why Saturday codes replace last week's strings.

A Style Without a Flow Is Half a Player

Blue Lock: Rivals gives you a style and a flow. The style is the kit: shot, dribble, steal, awakening. The flow is the mode you pop when the play is already working. Ranking a style and ignoring the flow is how people call a meta character bad.

You need the official group and level 10 before most codes redeem. The code box is in the lobby. Strings are case-sensitive. A failed redeem is usually level, group, or a code that died on Saturday, not a typo you need to retry twenty times.

Lucky Style spins and Lucky Flow spins are the rewards. Style spins are the valuable ones. Regular spins are not the same odds. Spend style spins on the banner you mean to play, not the first menu that opens.

Styles Worth Learning

NEL Isagi is the all-around striker. NEL Nagi is the 1v1 dribbler. NEL Rin is the destroyer kit after the rework. NEL Shidou finishes in the air. Kaiser is the shooting power. Loki is mobility. Don Lorenzo is the defensive wall. Sae is the playmaker. King is the NEL King update's all-rounder. NEL Bachira is the creative dribble.

You will not own all of them. Pick one striker and one thing you do when you do not have the ball. A locker full of unlearned awakenings loses to one style you can shoot with on purpose.

Charged shots beat mashing. Dash to bait the save, then shoot. Awakenings are for the chance you already created, not for the kickoff.

Saturday Deletes Last Week's Codes

The developers drop a spin batch with the weekend style update and the previous batch dies. On 19 September that meant SNUFFYSOON, BUGFIXES, and UBERSCONTINUES replaced NELKING, NIKOSOON, UBERSMONTH, and SORRYLOADING. Next Saturday will do it again.

Redeem the live three the day you see them. Hoarding a code until you hit level 10 is fine. Hoarding it until next week is how you watch it move to the expired list.

We do not publish the next code name early. The names are jokes about the update. They are not a pattern you can guess.

Ranked After the Style Sticks

Play casual until the charged shot and one dribble are boring. Ranked lobbies punish the player who is still reading the ability text. One combo you hit is worth more than a new style you spun and have not tried.

If the spin gave you a style in S on the tier list, learn that one before you spin again. If it gave you a C-tier style, the next code batch is the reroll. Do not build a ranked identity on a style the list tells you to replace.

Team modes need one person who can defend. Five strikers who all dash forward lose to a Lorenzo who stayed home for one play.

How Spin Codes Get Wasted

Redeeming on an alt that is not in the group and not level 10. Typing last month's Rin codes because a thumbnail still shows them. Spending style spins on a banner you will not play, then blaming the odds.

Check the codes page on Saturday, redeem, then open the style you actually got and play ten casual matches before the next spin. The tier list tells you if that style is a keeper. This page tells you the codes will not be here next week.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions

Why won't my Blue Lock code work?

Join the official group, reach level 10, and use the current Saturday batch. Older strings such as NELKING are expired.

What should I spin for?

A striker you will play: Isagi, Nagi, Rin, Kaiser, or King. Pair it with a flow instead of treating the style as the whole build.

How long do codes last?

Until the next weekend style update. Redeem the week they drop.
