Fisch Rods, Hunts, and C$ — What to Buy Before a Megalodon

4 min read

How to spend C$ in Fisch: which rod to buy next, when enchants matter, why Saturday codes die in a day, and which hunts are a waste on a starter rod.

Fisch Is Not Fish It!

Fisch is a fishing RPG with rods, enchants, boats, and timed hunts. Fish It! is a different experience with mutation potions and island coins. Codes do not transfer. A list that mixes ELEMENTAL26 with SCARLET is copying titles, not playing either game.

Progression in Fisch is rod, then enchant, then the water that rod can actually perfect-catch. A better rod on a modest spot out-earns a starter rod on a hyped island. Boats and cosmetics come after the rod can pay for them.

The three codes that stay up are cosmetics: SCARLET for the Nate's Blade skin, TemporarySubmarine for submarine parts, and CARBON for the carbon bobber. They do not hand you a hunt rod. Redeem them in Settings, join the group, like the game for the small C$ bonus, and then go fishing.

Where the First C$ Should Go

Sell almost everything from the first hour. Keep one rare if you want a trophy. Do not appraise every common — the fee eats the fish you should have sold.

Buy the next rod that raises luck and control enough for the water you are already fishing. Steady Rod teaches the reel. Rapid Rod is speed for commons. Both get retired. Mythical is a step, not a home. Kings Rod is a weight route. Trident is an Atlantis step you replace.

The rods worth saving toward, in the order most accounts actually feel them, are Destiny as an all-rounder, Rod of the Depths as the real pre-endgame stick, then Seraphic, No-Life, or Rod of the Forgotten Fang once hunts are something you can finish. Heaven's Rod and Zeus Rod are luck and storm tools. They are not a substitute for learning the shake and the reel. Missed perfects cost more C$ than a cheap rod.

Enchants Beat a New Skin

Put luck and mutation enchants on the rod you fish with. A flex skin with no enchant is a screenshot. The tier list ranks sticks because the enchant on a Depths rod changes what you can hunt more than the name on a starter.

Do not enchant a rod you are about to replace this week. Wait until you will still be holding it after the next island. Enchant materials are the quiet tax on players who upgrade rods every session and enchant all of them.

Weekend totems and hunt items from Saturday codes belong on the rod you enchant, not in a chest "for later." Later is usually after the code has expired.

Saturday Codes Last About a Day

Fisch drops a C$ and totem string most Saturdays around the companion or island patch, then kills it near 16:00 UTC the next day. LittleBudlingUpdate, the 12 September Budling drop, was dead by 14 September. SkycrestIsInTheSky died 6 September. SkycrestNextWeek died 30 August. A list that still marks any of those active is stale.

If a new Saturday string is on our codes page, redeem it the hour you see it. Level 25+ is the usual gate on those drops. The long-life cosmetics do not have that timer.

We do not invent the next Saturday code in advance. The name changes with the patch. Bookmark the codes page and check it when the update post lands, not on a random weekday list.

When a Hunt Is Worth the Totem

Megalodon, Kraken, and Scylla are where C$ and rare fish spike. They are also where a Flimsy or Steady rod donates the totem to the sea. Do not start a hunt until the rod in your hand is one you would still use after the hunt ends.

Depths is the usual "I can show up" rod. Forgotten Fang, Seraphic, and No-Life are the rods you bring when the hunt is the session, not a side activity between selling commons. Zeus Rod earns its place on storm and Olympus content, not as a general shop upgrade.

One hunt, then sell, then decide if the rod still needs an enchant before the next window. Chaining hunts on an under-geared account is how players conclude the event "doesn't pay."

The Purchases That Stall an Account

A boat before rod luck. Appraising commons. Fishing a hunt on the rod that taught you the reel. Trusting a codes graphic that still shows Skycrest or LittleBudlingUpdate in the active column.

If you only do one thing after the three cosmetic codes: upgrade the rod, enchant that rod, then fish the best water you can perfect-catch without missing half the shakes. The hunt will still be there when the rod can take it.

Fish It! players looking for mutation potions should use the Fish It! island guide instead. The economies do not overlap, and neither do the codes.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions

What Fisch codes are still active?

SCARLET, TemporarySubmarine, and CARBON. Saturday drops such as LittleBudlingUpdate expire within about a day. Check the Fisch codes page for anything newer.

Which rod should I save for?

Rod of the Depths before you treat hunts as your main income. Seraphic, No-Life, and Rod of the Forgotten Fang are the late sticks, not the second purchase.

Is Fisch the same as Fish It?

No. Different games, different codes, different currencies. Do not redeem a Fish It! potion code in Fisch.
